DS18B20 temperature sensor

This is the Dallas DS18B20, a compact and simple-looking temperature sensor. But don't be fooled by its simple appearance, because with its small size, high resolution (12bit) and large range (-55 to +120) it is essential for every project.

The Dallas works via the OneWire protocol which consists of a plus, minus and a data line, which makes connecting very simple. It is possible to connect several temperature sensors to the same data line and the bus length can be extended up to 100 meters depending on the wire diameter and shielding.
